A Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Staff!

We had a fantastic 11-night stay in a Two-Bedroom Villa! Highlighted by diving at 18 Palm, the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, even during the holiday rush. The housekeeping team went above and beyond, ensuring our comfort. Pro tip, Bring your own pillow for extra comfort!

A coffee experience gone wrong

The beachfront views were stunning, especially while enjoying snorkeling just steps from our room. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness made every moment memorable, truly a paradise!

However, the experience was marred by unexpected charges for specialty coffee, which left a sour taste. The lack of proper communication regarding the inclusive package was disappointing.

Just a nice choice for a lightning trip in Kralendijk with decent value for money. The staff was really friendly and helpful, which made the stay pleasant. Grab a pizza at the bar before 7pm to stash in your fridge for a late night snack.

Some parts impressed, others didn’t

The exceptional diving team made underwater experiences unforgettable. Meals were delicious with a diverse buffet, ensuring there was always something satisfying to enjoy.

I faced delays in breakfast service and the beach access felt rocky, making swimming challenging without the right footwear.

Diving here is a must! We loved the exceptional diving team, and the underwater world was just breathtaking. The private beach was perfect for relaxing with our little one. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel right at home during our stay.

In my wife’s opinion, a kids' play area would be great.

A fantastic spot for diving, with easy access to an amazing reef where colorful fish, turtles, and rays abound. The staff were friendly and accommodating, enhancing the experience, especially during dining, where traditional Marche products impressed. However, the beach access was rocky, making swimming a challenge, and breakfast service lacked consistency on busy mornings. The ongoing renovations were a slight distraction but hinted at a brighter future for the resort.

The location was perfect for diving and close to everything, including shops and the airport. Enjoyed the renovated pool and amazing views from my oceanfront room, making for a great stay.

The snorkelling was incredible off the hotel’s beach (amazing variety of fish! ), and the dining options were delightful, especially the fresh fish dishes prepared with different sauces daily. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the stay even better.

High points included fantastic diving right off the shore, and the staff were always nice and helpful. However, a few rooms showed signs of age, and I experienced a lack of timely breakfast service on some mornings, which was a small inconvenience.

stayed at van der valk and loved the private beach area! it was perfect for snorkeling right off the shore, offering beautiful underwater sights. the staff at the restaurant were super friendly, always making us feel welcome. the pool was great too, especially for a family vacation. overall, had a fantastic time enjoying the water and sun!

I stayed in the Grand Suite with Ocean View. The room was huge and super clean, with a nice modern vibe. Tons of storage space, and the sitting area was perfect for chilling out. The air conditioning was a bit icy when I got in, but it was fixed quickly. The beds had a comfy 2-inch mattress topper, which I really liked. There was also a great view of the ocean, so that was a nice bonus! Just a heads up—don’t expect a soft sandy beach here. The diving and snorkelling right off the shore are fantastic, though!

Spacious junior suites with comfortable bathtubs make for a relaxing stay. The buffet dining options feature a wide variety of tasty dishes, with a unique setting for beach entertainment events like BBQ nights and bonfires that added a special touch to our evenings.

For those needing specialty coffee, be wary of the unexpected charges at the bar. Additionally, some wooden walkways presented a safety concern, with several trip hazards that require caution when moving between areas.
